KIM DE L'HORIZON, born 2666 on Gethen. Into writing, performing and witchcraft. Landing here on earth was hard, as there has yet to be done so much to arrive in the year of our Lady 2666. So much horizon to be brought into the center, so much "I" to be fluidified. Kim currently studies witchcraft with Starhawk and how sedentarisation was the start of the whole mess we're in. Apart from literature and witchcraft, Kim writes and performs for theater.

'Blutbuch' was awarded the German Book Prize and the Swiss Book Prize 2022. The novel has been translated into 17 languages and adapted several times for the stage.

For River Landscapes, Kim de l’Horizon reexamines and reinterprets Swiss folk tales and water myths. In a performance, Kim explores how stories shape our relationships with rivers. Drawing on their characteristically fluid approach to text and stage, traditional tales from Alpine valleys, mountain springs, and lakes are interwoven with questions of identity, memory, and transformation. The performance combines text, voice, and movement to create an immersive experience for the audience. By juxtaposing traditional tales of water spirits, healing springs, and river crossings with contemporary issues of belonging, environmental change, and collective care, Kim allows folklore to resonate within contemporary realities. In this way, the River Landscapes performance positions the river not merely as a backdrop, but as a vessel of memory and a means through which cultural heritage can be reactivated for future generations.
